You may already have existing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn,YouTube or even Snapchat accounts. Whether it’s having to constantly create content or respond to posts and tweets, you'll know how difficult it is to keep the online conversation going.
If you’re new to the party and are ready to get social, we can help. Either way, we're experts at identifying and engaging with your audience to ensure you're 'liked'.
Social Media Marketing is one of the most powerful ways for businesses of all sizes to reach their customers. Whether you are communicating with your customers with the aim to build your brand awareness, gain new leads, or increase sales.
Chances are your customers are already interacting with brands through social media, (especially seeing as the number of social media users worldwide in 2019 is 3.484 billion, up 9% year-on-year) so if you’re not using social media to engage with them, you’re missing out!
However, social media hasn’t always been this apparent in marketing approaches. It has, over the years, matured far beyond just being a place to broadcast content. It’s now a place for businesses to really interact with their customers, creating and sharing content that is relevant to their interests, not just sales focused. It is important to remember that the content created is specific to the social platform in use, whether it be a video for Facebook or a still image for Instagram.
How can Social Media Marketing benefit my business?
Social Media Marketing will bring many benefits to your business no matter what size, or what goals you may have. These goals just need to be identified from the outset so the platforms can be utilised appropriately.
A few benefits of social media marketing:
Build brand awareness
Create a brand identity/personality
Increase website traffic
Whether you have a start-up business and want to use social media to promote your brand story and get your name out there, or you are a well-established business that wants to make the most of the way you use social media, we can help!
What can we do to help?
Our team are experts in planning, creating and posting engaging content that will promote your products and services, and uniquely tell your brand story.
Some of the main things we will focus on when helping you set up or run your social media channels include;
We will work with you to identify your business goals; what you are hoping to achieve from Social Media Marketing, what your target audience is, and what you want to tell your target audience. You need to put yourself in your customers’ shoes - what do they want to see/what interests them? Once you have figured this out, you can show them exactly what they want to see and in return, get great engagement.
There is no question that at least some, if not all, of your followers will have seen your competitor’s content. Competition for businesses to fight for customers’ attention is higher than ever and this is why we believe creating content that is eye-catching and stands out as being unique to your business, is so crucial.
We will also ensure this amazing content is used correctly. It’s all well and good having beautiful content that is engaging and relevant to your business, but that’s no good if you don’t have the time to schedule this at the most appropriate time of day or the right frequency.
Alongside all of this we will also monitor your competitors so we are up to date with trends in the industry and we will analyse the performance of the content we post.

What are the most beneficial Social Media platforms for my business?
There are so many social media platforms on the market, it can tricky to pick which one(s) to use. Here is a quick low down of the leading social platforms and how to best use them:
Pinterest is entirely image centred. It is an ideal platform for retail businesses as these images link directly to products, making it a real sales driver. It is also a great platform for developing your brand personality. Make the most of different boards to categorise your businesses’ products and services.
Instagram revolves around pretty imagery. It is not the best place to directly promote the sales of your products, but instead create images that help tell the story of your products and highlight different aspects of the lifestyle your products promote. What’s even more important is that Instagram users are active on a daily basis making the potential for engagement higher than many other platforms.
Twitter revolves around dialog, therefore is a great social platform for businesses that want to deliver messages and communicate with their customers in real-time. The real-time messaging allows for great customer service abilities. You have the ability to share content with like-minded people, so if you update your blog regularly and enjoy sharing relevant third-party content, Twitter will work well for your business.
One of the most powerful strategies for reaching clients is paid social, mainly through Facebook and Instagram ads, but also through Twitter and LinkedIn. The cost per click on Facebook and Instagram ads can be very cheap, with eye catching creative or video messages, very detailed audience targeting and the ability to retarget people who have visited a website and/or read an email, and then visit a social platform. LinkedIn ads, though more expensive, also have their plus points if you want to serve ads to a certain level of decision maker with role-based targeting. Twitter cards are the least popular service, having not really taken off, but will suit some businesses in some instances. And Pinterest ads can work really well for lifestyle businesses and anyone wanting to talk to a heavily female weighted audience.
